Welcome to Frankfort Township Republican Organization. On January 24, 2012, the Frankfort Township Republican Organization voted to endorse Jim Moustis and David Izzo for County Board, District 2, and Margo McDermed for County Board District 12. Please remember to vote for these outstanding conservatives in the Republican Primary on March 20, 2012. Please join us and find out more about our organization, hear our featured speakers, talk to our elected government office holders, learn about volunteer opportunities, meet the men and women of Republican Precinct Committeemen and add your voice to our efforts to improve government. Our next scheduled meeting is in the Hugh Stipan Community Room, lower lever, in the Frankfort Township Building located at 11000 W. Lincoln Highway (on U.S Rt. 30 one block east of Wolf Road on the north side of the street) in Frankfort on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. Come listen and ask questions of the candidates in the upcoming Republican Primary on March 20, 2012. The entrance is on the lower level in the rear of the building on the east side.
Our annual fundraiser on June 23, 2011 was well attended and a financial success. We would like to thank our 2011 generous sponsors: Citizens for Jeffery Junkas, Ed Ronkowski, Bill Carlson, David Carlson, Bruce Ebert, State Representative Renee Kosel, Peggy Mathews, Inc., Bob Mathews, Mayor Jim Holland, Margo McDermed, Proven Business Systems, Cory Singer, Lou Filosa, Nick George, Hugh Stipan, Assessor Joe Kral, County Board Chairman Jim Moustis, State Senator Christine Radogno, Kensington Research and Recovery, Home Star Bank, and RWC Insurance Group.
Our organization would like to thank all those who voted in the November 2, 2010 and April 5, 2011elections. We also congratulate our local winners. Those wins include landslide victories for Adam Kinzinger in the 11th Congressional District and Renee Kosel for State Representative. Former Frankfort Township Republican Organization members Steve Weber beat the incumbent Democrat for Will County Treasurer and Ray Rossi won election for subcircuit Judgeship B. Additionally, Mike Powers beat out his Democrat opponent for the Stephen White Will County Judge vacancy. Mokena resident Paul Kaupas won re-election to become the first sheriff in Will County history to win three terms in a row. On April 5, 2011, Republican Committeemen Patrick Markham and George Perros won seats on two local school boards, and Republican Committeeman Anthony Granata won a seat on his local park district board.
The efforts of our Republican Committeemen and our associated members resulted in Frankfort Township having the highest early voting and highest overall voter turnout of all 23 Will County townships in the last two elections.
The Frankfort Township Republican Organization welcomes you to join us at the events listed above. Please contact us with any questions.
